TESTIMONIALS
"Excellent training with world class dance educators. This studio makes exquisite dancers."
Charmaine Hunter, Former Principal Dancer with Dance Theatre of Harlem

"If you're looking for a ballet school in the Dallas area, check out The Ballet Conservatory. The director, Kelly Lannin is experienced and exceptionally caring of her students. She is a rare, sweet soul and she instills joy and meaning in the dancers."
Sarah Lane, Former Principal Dancer with American Ballet Theatre and International Guest Artist

"I grew up dancing at this studio and with LBT and was able to receive a scholarship for dance in college. Now I have my own children taking dance here. The staff is so knowledgeable and the professionalism that is taught through the example of the teachers and in performances is amazing and gets students ready to take dance as far as they want to go."

"Our two daughters participated in Ballet Conservatory programs and LBT productions over 15 years. We can truly say that some of fondest memories raising our family was the time we spent together on the productions and seeing our daughters perform and thrive.
With any programming in which a parent involves their children, the goal is to have a long-term positive impact while engaging with quality people. Our daughters’ involvement with BC/LBT reinforced many of the lessons that we were attempting to instill - hard-work, discipline, perseverance, humility and teamwork. Along the way they also received extensive practice in time-management as both young ladies were honor students in high school. Our oldest has since graduated from college and is thriving in her career. The youngest received a dual bachelor’s degree in four years and Is now dancing professionally at Dance Theatre of Harlem. Ballet Conservatory and LakeCities Ballet Theatre were more than worthwhile partners in reinforcing positive, long-term skills and excellent work ethic. Our family highly recommends Ballet Conservatory and LakeCities Ballet Theatre.

"My daughter has been dancing at Ballet Conservatory for 7 years, and I do not believe there is a better ballet school in this area. The quality of instruction is beyond excellent. The fact that this studio has churned out so many professional dancers should speak for itself. The students are pushed hard to do their best, but I can say that every teacher only has the best interest of the dancer in mind, and they truly care about each and every one of them."

"My daughter studied at The Ballet Conservatory for 10 years under the direction of Kelly Lannin and her talented staff of teachers who all had an impassioned love for the art of dance and its many forms. Classical ballet was my daughter's first love, and she was able to enjoy jazz, modern, tap, and musical theatre, as well. The studio was our second home. As the saying goes, "It takes a village." Hard work, persistence, determination, dedication, and an unyielding desire to be your best are a few of the things that my daughter learned during her time at The Ballet Conservatory. Not only will your child learn to dance from the best, she will learn important life lessons that will ensure success wherever life takes her. I highly recommend The Ballet Conservatory!"
C. Johnson
"Two of my daughters dance here, and we love this studio and the teachers! It's so impressive to see the students who have been here for years and are dancing at such a high level. I also appreciate that the recital costumes are so cute, flattering, and appropriate. That's so hard to find in a dance studio now."

"Best place in the area to study dance! Having been a dancer myself, I appreciate that classical values and training start from the beginning to build amazing dancers. My daughters have danced here for 5 years, starting the day they would take them at 3!"
S. Bennight
"Ballet Conservatory is a great school. They have a wide range of classes for my five children to take. I love that they really have a focus on technique and that ballet is the core. The director really cares for her students and helps to bring out their potential. I love the professionalism of the teachers and staff. I definitely recommend this school to anyone that has children, boys or girls, that have a strong desire to dance."

"Ballet Conservatory has been training my children for the past 12 years. The owner, faculty, and staff are all excellent. They will get to know your child and care for the whole person while teaching the discipline of dance. Performances, including recitals, are professional. The core ballet program is outstanding and the teachers of other genres are wonderful too, all creative choreographers and masterful teachers."
M. Pigott
My daughter has been a student at the Ballet Conservatory for eleven years. She’s a third generation dancer and my mom and I are very envious of the wonderful training and discipline that she has received here. The ballet, tap, modern and jazz technique is the very best in the area. BC has excellent teachers. They work with each student to meet them at their level then make them stronger and more accomplished dancers. If you know anything about dancers, you’ll know they have a wonderful reputation of being overachievers, hard-workers and multitaskers who can focus on many things at once. This is something my daughter has learned at Ballet Conservatory. She finds joy in going to class and looks forward to dancing everyday. I also take the adult classes and we both love it.
