Eric Glenn
CLASSES TAUGHT: Ballet, Pre Pro, & Boy's Ballet
Eric Glenn was born and raised in Houston, Texas, which is where he first found his passion for dance. He started is training with Dina Vail and then went on to Houston Ballet Academy. Eric danced on full scholarship, where he had the opportunity to work with Ben Stevenson, Claudio Munoz, Priscilla Murphy, and Clara Cravey. He also received training from Uptown Dance Centre, working under Beth Gulledge Brown and Keith Cross. This is where Eric was first exposed to modern and contemporary dance. Eric graduated in 2007 from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where he trained with Luanne Carter and Janie Carothers. After high school, Eric attended the University of Oklahoma, where he graduated with his Bachelors of Fine Arts. At the University of Oklahoma, Eric received training from the entire dance faculty as well as guest artists like Helen Star, Violette Verdy, Howard Sayette, and others. Eric has had the pleasure to perform in ballets choreographed by Bronislava Nijinska, Miguel Terekhov, Ben Stevenson, Bruce Wells, Mary Margaret Holt, Steve Brule, and Alun Jones. In addition, Eric was exposed to contemporary works choreographed by Robert Battle, Alvin Ailey, Darrel Grand Moultrie, Fritz Ludin, Derrick Minter, and Austin Hartel. After college Eric started his dance career with Nevada Ballet Theatre and then went off to dance with Idaho Dance Theatre. Eric has also danced for Oklahoma Festival Ballet, Contemporary Dance Oklahoma, Off
Centre Dance, Ballet Idaho, Osage Ballet, Kindwood Dance Theatre, Uptown Dance Center and The Dance Centre of Elizabethtown. Eric has been dancing as a guest artist with LakeCities Ballet Theatre since 2021.
